Beginning Printmaking / Lena Noordik

Learn printing basics on paper, canvas as well as other surfaces while gaining insights into its diverse techniques such as relief prints as well as stenciling.  Explore reduction prints, linocuts, pochoir and even sun printing/cyanotypes.  Open up new possibilities for artistic expression. This class welcomes all levels of experience and experimentation, creativity and a supportive community of fellow printmakers.  A supply list will be sent out when you register.

Lena Noordik is a passionate artist who earned her fine arts degree from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs in 2023.  With a lifelong dedication to the arts, Lena has been actively creating and showcasing her work with a series of exhibitions as well as commissioned works in Colorado Springs.  One of Lena’s significant contributions to the art scene was her participation in the group show “Ouroboros” at the downtown Colorado Springs Galleries of Contemporary Art as well as exhibition  # of Flesh  at the Fine Arts Center, Colorado Springs.
