Advanced Beginner is not a play on words. This class is about having fun with your photos.
Using your iPhone or Android cellphone, this class will help you gain more comfort and knowledge with your cell phone camera. Using clip-on attachment lenses and thinking out of the box, this class will help you create some super fun photos. Macro, telephoto, and fish eye lenses will be available for you to experiment with. We will be taking photos at different angles, working on composition, lighting, and then editing in the free Snapseed app. Plan on bringing your phone, all necessary cables and cords as well as any lenses you have. If you have an iPad please feel free to bring that along also. The Snapseed app does not work on a laptop only on a mobile device.
Heather Curtis has been taking photos since she was 12, finally turned pro in her 30’s, having several photos published in calendars, greeting cards and books. In the last few years she has been printing exclusively on canvas, creating giclee prints of her images. She believes in making photography simple and fun, finding a creative way to capture an image.
