Kenny will show at least two full-length “great films” on Saturday and Sunday mornings with discussions in the afternoons. The class will offer an overview of how filmmaking began, touching on historical breakthroughs, and the development of editing, lighting, and directing: the basic tools for analyzing the art of cinema. This short survey will cover narrative, documentary and experimental forms of film making.
Kenny Schneider has a Bachelor’s degree in art from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL, and a Master’s Degree in art from Adams State College in Alamosa, CO. He has taught art at Colorado State University in Pueblo, CO, Trinidad State Jr. College in Trinidad, CO and Western Connecticut State University in Danbury,CN. His Public Works projects are known world-wide.
